Please, Don’t Burn It If You Can’t Watch It!

FYI: If you burn any trash cans at the range, please stay with them until they are out! A club member arrived at the range last week to find a pretty severe forest fire underway. Apparently, another club member lit one of the barrels, then left before the fire was out. The fire got out of the barrel and spread. The situation was severe enough that the Maud Fire Department had to be called.

We were lucky; if the member had not happened upon the fire, we might not have a range today!

We appreciate you wanting to help keep the trash situation under control, but please do not burn it if you don’t have time to keep an eye on it.

Like Smokey says; “Only you can prevent burning our club”… or something like that.

Please be careful with fire!
