Match Director Art “The Scorpion” Scupien tells me that the first USPSA match of 2026 will feature not 1 but 2 classifier stages. So, if you need some extra classifier time to rank up for this season, here’s an opportunity for you.

This icy winter weather has made a squishy mud pit out of the 600-yard range, and it is officially closed to all vehicle traffic from the shed out to the 600-yard targets until everything dries out.

Due to hazardous driving conditions and the fact that the Southwest Center appears to be closed, tonight’s TGC meeting has been cancelled. We will try again on the fourth Tuesday in February.

We can’t believe it either, but the end of the year is here, and that means BANG & CLANG Time! We know you’re going to get a bunch of new powder from Santa, so let’s burn off a bunch of that old powder and have some fun doing it.

The tradition was established a few years ago and will continue this year with our last meeting of the year taking place at the Texarkana Gun Club range instead of the Southwest Center… which also means a Burger Burn!

The double-lock system is almost done for another year. After the meeting next week (September 23), the old lock will come off, and the new lock will be the only way to gain entrance to the gun club. » Read more
