Club Member/Match Director/Friend Needs Our Help

Our friend, longtime club member, match director and all-around, hard-working, good guy Jay Tucker needs our help. Jay needs a hip replacement and his insurance is almost non-existent.
At last night’s TGC meeting we all voted to dedicate the proceeds from all match fees in the month of May to Jay to get him literally one step closer to getting that surgery. So we’re asking that if you haven’t been to a match at the TGC in a while, please try to attend at least one in the month of May. If you’re a regular, try not to miss your usual match in May, and if you’re new, May is a great month to start.
- Saturday, May 4 – USPSA Match
- Saturday, May 11 – Steel Challenge Match
- Saturday, May 11 – Precision Rifle Challenge Match
- Saturday, May 18 – 3rd Saturday Rifle Match
- Saturday, May 25 – Plinker Plus
- Saturday, May 25 – ArkLaTex Multi-Gun Match
In addition to the match fees going to help Jay next month, we’re also going to raffle off a .22 Rifle. Tickets can be purchased at any of the matches in the month of May or at the TGC Meeting on Tuesday, May 28 at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Waterall St. starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets will be $10 each.
Jay Tucker has been there countless times when his Club needed help and now it’s time to return many, many favors.
