Break out your .22 for some fun!

Plinker Plus is structured so that there are four classes of .22 rimfire rifles.

  • Sporting Rimfire Class: Any “standard” stock rimfire no heavy barrel, no “match” ammo and 9X max scope setting for optics class, any iron sights for Open Sight Class.
  • Plinker Class: Any .22 rimfire that, on the bench, cost less than $900. We see mostly Ruger 10/22 type guns in this.
  • Target Class: Any .22 rimfire that costs from $901 to $1,400 as it sits on the bench. These are usually CMP type guns. Example: Kimber/ 40x with an 8X32 Tasco scope.
  • Open Class: $1401 and up, no limitations.

Similar to IPSC, everything is scored by class. So a 10/22 does not compete with a “Benchrest Rifle”.

AR15 Match: We shoot AR15s at 100 yds on a 100-yard rifle target, so far we have not had to class ARs except if someone shoots “Open Sights”

Bonus Match: We hold a meeting before each match and whatever the group wants to shoot the next month and all agree That’s what we shoot ie: rimfire pistols, centerfire pistols, deer rifles, military rifles, at various targets, at various distances, just whatever the group decides.

We shoot every 4th Saturday year-round, with only very rare exceptions, starting at 9 AM.

We shoot only for the fun, and sportsmanship of it. Do not worry about what the guy on the bench next to you is shooting. This is just for fun, and it is!
