The end of August is approaching quickly, which means renewal night at your Texarkana Gun Club is next Tuesday. Are you ready?
Membership Renewal: Tuesday, August 26
Once again, if we have your correct address, then you should have received your renewal card weeks ago. If you have not received the card, please fill out a member information update form for new addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Where – When – What Time?
- Date: Tuesday, August 26, 2025
- Location: Southwest Center, 3222 W 7th St., Texarkana, Texas
- Doors Open: 5 PM, and we have to be out of there by 7 PM.
If you need to renew by mail, be sure to tape your old key between two pieces of a cereal box before placing it into an envelope so it won’t punch through and get lost. Or use a padded envelope. These keys are expensive, and many do not make it back to us.
If you can’t make it to renewal night, please send someone to take care of it in your place. It doesn’t take that long, and it will help us speed up a process that sometimes drags on for months.
NOTE: If renewing by mail, please allow 2 – 3 weeks for your new key to arrive. If you want to get it faster, show up for the August meeting, or send someone to take care of the renewal for you.
What To Bring Tuesday:
If you are going to renew your membership in person, please bring:
- Your old key
- Proof of current NRA membership
- Cash/check for renewal
- Address/information change form if needed
- Renewal fee is $100.
If you have participated in range cleanup, repairs, match setups, and/or breakdowns, then your fee is reduced to $75… and we thank you very much for your help.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: TGC Election Year – Nominations Accepted at September Meeting
Double-Lock System:
For new members and as a reminder to the rest, the double-locking system is still in place at the gun club gates. Please leave the locks as you see them in the photo; otherwise, some members will not be able to get into the club. There have also been cases where someone was inside the gate and locked in; it happens every year.
