TGC Renewal Is This Tuesday, And The Doors Open Much Earlier!

If we have your correct address then you should have your renewal card by now, Tuesday is the day we renew for the 2024 shooting year. We will be opening much earlier this year on Tuesday, August 22.

The Southwest Center is closing at 6:30 PM that night so we will need to start accepting renewals at 4:00 PM. Please come as early as you can, if you can renew by mail, that’s fine, be sure to tape your old key between two pieces of cereal box so it won’t punch through the envelope and get lost, and cause you not to get a key returned to you. These keys are expensive and many do not make it back to us.

If you can’t make renewal night, please send someone to take care of it for you. It doesn’t take that long and it will help us speed up a process that drags on forever sometimes.

What To Bring Tuesday:

If you are going to renew your membership in person, please bring:

  • Your old key
  • Proof of current NRA membership
  • Cash/check for renewal
  • Address change if needed

Renewal fees are $100.

If you have participated in range cleanup, repairs, match setups and/or breakdowns, then your fee is reduced to $75… and we thank you very much for your help.

Double-Lock System:

For new members and as a reminder to the rest, the double-locking system is once again in place at the gun club gates. Please leave the locks as you see them in the photo or else some members will not be able to get into the club. There have been cases where someone was inside the gate and locked in (yes, that’s happened), either way, that’s bad.

We love you being a member of the Texarkana Gun Club and we’re trying to accommodate everyone as best as we can, thank you for your cooperation.
