The round count will be around 60. 223-300 Win Mag – 3200 fps muzzle velocity limit.

Course of Fire for May 28, 2021

TGC 600 Yard Range

Match Fee: $25 due at match check-in

Round Count -52 (Bring extra)

2 Minute Time Limit on All Stages

Actions open and magazines removed at ALL times unless shooting a stage. Carry your rifle in a safe manner – do not sweep anyone with your muzzle at any time.

Starting Position: Standing behind shooting position, rifle in hand, magazine in, bolt back, with all support bags on your body or in hand-all bags/field gear must be deployed under the clock. including tripods.

  • Stage 1 – Diamonds and Tires-10 Rounds – Shooters will fire 2 rounds from each of 3 tire positions at the 500-yard target, and 4 rounds from the prone position at the 600-yard target. Shooters must start and end the stage on the 500-yard target from a tire position.
  • Stage 2 – Barrel Troop-10 Rounds – Shooters will use each of 3 positions from the barrel arrangement. Engage the troop line with 2 rounds each target, near to far. 300, 350, 400, 450, 600 yards.
  • Stage 3 – Modified PRS Barricade -10 Rounds-Shooters will use each of 5 positions on the PRS barricade. Fire 1 round at the 400-yard target, then fire 1 round at the 600-yard target. Change positions and repeat.
  • Stage 4 – Prone – 12 Rounds – 600 Yards – Upon start signal, shooters will take the prone position and fire one round from left to right at each of four targets. Repeat this sequence for a total of 12 rounds.
  • Stage 5-Tank Trap-10 Rounds – Shooters will use each of the 5 positions on the tank trap. Fire 2 rounds from each position at a 450-yard target.
