TGC Volunteers Needed This Weekend and in August

Your Texarkana Gun Club needs some volunteers for upcoming 600-yard range improvement project this weekend and a Gun Show in August.

600-Yard Concrete Pad:

At last night’s TGC meeting $2300 was approved to pour a slab at the 600-yard range. We (club members), need a few volunteers with shovels and rakes this weekend to help with levelling the pad. The contractor is bringing a mini excavator so there won’t be much digging, just levelling and smoothing.

Friday evening around 6:30 PM: Need 4 people to move the benches out of the way.

Saturday morning from 6 – 7 AM: Need 4 or so for pad preparation.

Gun Show in August:

Murphey’s Gun and Knife Show returns to the Arkansas Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, August 8 & 9. Club volunteers are needed to man the booth, or woman the booth, from 8 AM – 5 PM on Saturday and 8 AM – 4 PM Sunday.
